NYU College of Dentistry is hosting the Saturday Academy’s 11th annual program for underrepresented minority and low-income students interested in healthcare careers.
Saturday Academy is run by current NYU dental students originating from all over the country who have attended a wide range of undergraduate universities. Our leadership is committed to mentoring and is eager to share their personal experiences.
Program Benefits:
- Students will learn how to prepare for the college application process through interactive sessions including topics such as college search, resume building, SAT/ACT prep, personal statements, interviews, financial aid and more!
- Students will learn more about the profession of dentistry from dental students through hands-on activities. A unique hands-on experience provided only by NYU College of Dentistry.
Program Requirements: Saturday Academy runs September-December, every other Saturday 10am-1pm. Program Participants are expected to have regular attendance and be on time. There is no cost to the students and applications are due July 14, 2023. Please see below for the program’s website, flyer, video and the application link.
COVID-19 Notice: All accepted Saturday Academy participants will be required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to participate in in-person programming held at NYU College of Dentistry.
