Health Careers Internship Program
HCIP provides participants with 6 week internship placements in hospitals and community-based health centers and organizations. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to network with med-school students and professionals, and gain valuable career experience. Available to rising college juniors, seniors, and post-baccalaureate students.
Community Health Experience
Community Health Experience provides hands-on experience through non-clinical internships for future doctors who have expressed interest in working in under-served communities. Available to second-year NYCOM medical students.
MedPrep is a free, three year summer program designed to give students from underrepresented and/or economically challenged backgrounds a leg up in approaching the MCAT and medical school. For New York City and New Jersey resident college freshmen and sophomores. Apply at the NERA MedPrep site.
