Student Athletes With Academic Goals

(Jr. SWAG)

Jr. SWAG is a health career exploration program designed for high school athletes with an interest in healthcare. The program provides early exposure to health professions, hands-on learning experiences, and opportunities to build confidence, teamwork skills, and academic readiness.

Who Can Apply:

High school student athletes between the ages of 14-17 who demonstrate curiosity, collaboration, and a desire to learn about healthcare careers. 

Students Will Experience:

  • Workshops led by healthcare professionals
  • Hands-on health activities
  • Interactive sessions on a wide range of health professions
  • Gain academic skills in science, health literacy, and problem-solving

    What Students Will Experience:

    • Workshops led by healthcare professionals
    • Hands-on health activities
    • Interactive sessions on physical therapy, mental health, nutrition, and more
